Rescuing Our Family from the Ravages of War in Gaza
“بعد أحداث المأساة التي لا يمكن وصفها، أصبحت رابطة عائلتنا مصدر حياتنا. متحدين في سعينا لإنقاذ ما تبقى من حياتنا المحطمة وتأمين مستقبل خالٍ من أهوال الحرب، نكتب إليكم بقلوب مثقلة، نطلب دعمكم لإجلاء عائلتنا الأحبّة من العنف المستمر الذي يجتاح غزة.
كانت عائلتنا في السابق مصدر قوة وتماسك حتى اجتاحتها ضربة الحرب القاسية. في أكتوبر الماضي، تمزّقت عائلتنا بفعل مذبحة مدمّرة أودت بحياة عشرة من أفرادها الأعزاء، بما في ذلك سبعة أطفال أبرياء. ومنذ ذلك الحين، تمّ نزوح الناجين عدة مرات، مضطرّين للفرار من منازلهم بحثًا عن أمان غير متوفر في وسط الصراع المتواصل. ومع ذلك، فإن الحرب لا تزال مستمرة، وما زالوا يعيشون دون الضروريات الأساسية، دون منزل يعودون إليه، أو مستقبل يخططون له…
وفي كل لحظة نخشى أن نخسر ما تبقى من عائلتنا. نناشدكم المساعدة والدعم لإخراج عائلتنا من غزة نحو بر الأمان. يستحق أطفال عائلتنا مستقبلاً أفضل، وبداية جديدة لنسيان المرارة التي عانوا منها خلال الأشهر الستة الماضية، وفرصة للتعافي من الصدمات النفسية التي تعرضوا لها جراء الخسائر والرعب. إنهم يستحقون فرصة للحياة.
يتطلّب مغادرة غزة إلى مصر مبلغ 5000 دولار لكل شخص بالغ، و2500 دولار لكل طفل، وهو ما يعادل 20000 دولار على الأقل لعائلة صغيرة تتكون من أمّ وأب وأربعة أطفال.”

Our family was once a beacon of strength and unity until the cruel grip of war tore through our hearts. Last October, our family was torn apart by a devastating massacre, claiming the lives of ten cherished members, including seven innocent children. Since then, survivors have been displaced multiple times, forced to flee their homes in search of elusive safety amidst ongoing conflict. Yet, the war rages on, and they continue to live without basic necessities, without a home to return to, or a future to plan…
With every passing moment, we fear losing what remains of our family. We implore you for help and support to evacuate our family from Gaza to safety. Our family’s children deserve a better future, a fresh start to forget the bitterness they endured over the past six months, and a chance to recover from the psychological traumas caused by loss and terror. They deserve a chance at life.
Leaving Gaza for Egypt requires $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child, totaling at least $20,000 for a small family consisting of a mother, father, and four children.”
