My name is Mahmoud Abdul Aziz Mahmoud Al-Balaawi, a resident of Beit Lahia Al-Salateen. I have four children. My home was completely destroyed and burned down, making it uninhabitable. Now, I am displaced in Rafah city, living in a tent with my family.
My home was a safe haven for my children, but now they have lost that sense of security and live in constant fear. They experience nightmares from the destruction they witnessed. Our house was not just a structure; it was the result of years of hard work and dedication. Now, we are without shelter, and my children are enduring harsh conditions.
I had a small factory that I built through years of effort, providing employment for 30 workers. They earned 50 shekels daily, amounting to around 500 dollars in total each day. These workers have also lost their source of income.
My factory cost me no less than 50,000 dollars, and my house was valued at 160,000 dollars. Now, everything is destroyed. The workers who lost their lives during the attacks depended on this factory to secure their futures and those of their families.
I am now 45 years old, with four daughters and one son. My children’s names are Abdul Aziz, Walaa, Sarah, Jana, and Tala. The oldest is 15 years old, and the youngest is 5. We are now living in a tent without the basic necessities of a dignified life, dreaming of returning to our home and rebuilding our lives.
I am asking for your help to rebuild my home and my factory, to bring life back to us, my children, and the workers who lost everything.
Thank you for your support and for standing by us during these difficult times.
