Jamal Raed Al-Bardawil is a 5-year-old boy who suffers from a severe problem with his hands. He needs a bone and tissue transplant to be able to use his hands like any other child. Jamal has faced bullying from society because of his condition. Despite undergoing several surgeries, we have not been able to complete his treatment due to a lack of funds needed for treatment abroad. Here in Gaza, medical facilities are inadequate, and his treatment abroad is extremely costly.

The war destroyed our home, leaving us homeless. My family and I yearn for a safe place to live and the chance to travel abroad to complete Jamal’s treatment. We lost everything in the war: our house, my taxi office, four cars, and all our belongings. We no longer know how to sleep, how to talk as a family, or how to live. Fear, death, and nightmares are not our friends; they are our prison.

Our children have lost their passion for studying and live in constant uncertainty. We are not just asking for help to recover our material losses, but to recover our very souls. We need your support to bring back the light in our children’s eyes and the hope in their hearts.
