A Gaza Barber’s Plea: Help Rebuild Our Lives After the War

Hello, my name is Aboud al-Ashi from the Gaza Strip. Before the war, I lived a simple and happy life, working in my own barber shop. I was creative in my work, my living situation was good, and my family was happy.

But the war changed everything. My life was turned upside down and became a hell of fear and terror. Displacement, hunger, thirst, cold, and the risk of death at any moment from indiscriminate bombing became my reality.

On October 8th, I began a bitter journey of displacement. I left my home in northern Gaza with my family and headed to a shelter in the middle of the Strip.

Since that day, I have not returned to my home, which was destroyed by the Israeli occupation. It has become nothing but rubble. Food aid is very limited due to the closure of the crossings, and I live in constant fear for my family.

I ask you to help and donate to relieve my family and help us stay alive and rebuild our destroyed home.
