Support Enas From Gaza

I am writing to share the heart-wrenching story of my family and me, hoping to find compassion and support from those who believe in justice and the sanctity of human life. My name is Inas Mohammed Dokhan, and we are a family of eight living in Gaza. Our lives have been turned upside down by the ongoing war. We have lost many of our beloved relatives, their bodies still trapped under the rubble. The pain of their loss is a constant shadow over us.

When the war reached our doorstep, we were forced to evacuate to the south, leaving behind our home and all our belongings. Now, we live in tents, struggling to survive. Food is scarce, and even when it is available, the prices are exorbitant after 170 days of relentless conflict. Our source of income has vanished, and with it, our ability to provide for our basic needs.

Before the war, I found joy and purpose in my work as a children’s teacher. But the school where I taught was targeted and destroyed, leaving me without a job and my students without a place to learn and grow. The loss of my livelihood has added another layer of despair to our already dire situation.

The dangers and hardships we face daily are beyond anything I could have imagined. Our story is one of countless others in Gaza, where voices are often silenced, and cries for help go unheard. Despite this, I am grateful to have found a platform where I can speak openly and seek assistance.
